Paradise Valley / Quassussuaq Circle Hike
A gentle hiking experience in the beautiful nature just outside Nuuk. This is the tour for light hikers or anyone who simply wants a taste of Greenland’s nature.
Paradise Valley and the Quassussuaq Circle are the easiest of our hiking tours. Starting at the edge of the city, both options offer an accessible way to experience Nuuk’s backcountry and the beautiful landscape of Paradise Valley.
For light hikers, we recommend following the trail into Paradise Valley and returning along the same route without circling the mountain.
Difficulty: 3/10
For moderate hikers, we recommend the full Quassussuaq Circle.
Difficulty: 4/10
Both versions offer a beautiful and relatively easy hike, taking you into Nuuk’s backcountry in a gentle yet adventurous way. Along the way, you’ll experience some of the best views in the Nuuk area — including the iconic Sermitsiaq mountain and the rushing river in Paradise Valley. Arctic landscapes at their best.
While this is our easiest hiking tour, we recommend it only for guests who are comfortable walking in rough and uneven terrain.
The tour is available for both small and large groups.
