NUUK FIVE PEAKS - Guided Mountain Tour
Experience Greenland’s rugged nature — a full-day mountain adventure.
The Nuuk Five Peaks Guided Tour offers the full Five Peaks route as a professionally guided mountain running or fast hiking experience, available on request on a date of your choice. The tour follows the same classic local loop used for the Nuuk Five Peaks race and provides a safe and structured way to experience one of Nuuk’s most iconic mountain challenges.
The route covers approximately 25 km with 2,000 metres of elevation gain and includes technical terrain, off-trail sections, steep ascents, ridgelines and sections with no established paths. The tour combines trail running, fast hiking and light mountaineering and is suitable for experienced runners and hikers with a high level of mountain fitness.
The five peaks included in the tour are:
Lille Malene / Quassussuaq (443 m)
Store Malene / Ukkusissak (772 m)
Store Malene / Ukkusissak — second summit (772 m)
Kangilequtaat (787 m)
Kuanninnguit (472 m)
During the tour, the guide manages pacing, route choices and safety while sharing local knowledge, allowing participants to focus fully on the experience. The route also passes through Paradisdalen (“Paradise Valley”), offering a beautiful and varied contrast to the surrounding mountain terrain.
