Quassussuaq Peak Hike – 434 m (Lille Malene)

Hike to the summit of Quassussuaq, the local mountain just outside Nuuk, with a professional guide.

Quassussuaq is the closest mountain peak to Nuuk, standing 434 metres above sea level. It can be climbed from three different sides, and our guides will take you along the most beautiful route with the best views. We’ll ascend at a comfortable pace and take breaks along the way. Our guides will also introduce you to Greenlandic culture and nature.

Duration: 3 hours

Difficulty: 4/10 — Hiking experience recommended.

Price: 600 DKK per person. Minimum 3 persons.

Availability: All year round.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Bring suitable hiking footwear and dress according to the weather forecast. A mosquito net is recommended on warm summer days. Bring a drinking cup or bottle — clean water is available from streams along the route.

Transportation is not included in the tour price.

We will provide detailed information on how to get to the meeting point.

B. Guide pick-up — 650 DKK + 100 DKK per guest
If you book guide pick-up as an extra, the guide will meet you at the cultural centre and take you to the mountain.
