Nature hiking experience near Nuuk. This is the tour for the light hiker or peolpe who just want to dip their toes in Greenland’s nature.
The Paradise Valley and the Quassussuaq Circke are is the easiest of our tours. Starting at the city boundry, it offers a chance to experience the local nuuk nature in the Paradise Valley.
For light hikers we reccomend taking the path into the Paradise Valley and returning without circeling the mountain.
Difficulty 3/10.
For moderate hikers we reccomend the Quassussuaq Circle. Difficulty 4/10.
Both versions of the hike offers a lovely and relatively easy hike leading you in to Nuuk back country in a gentle and yet enchanting way. You will get at chance to get some of the best views in the Nuuk area - the iconic Sermitsiaq mountain and the rush of the river in the Paradise Valley. The arctic landscape at it’s best.
While this is our easiest tour, we reccomend it only to people who are comfortable with hiking in rough landscapes.
The tour is available to both smaller and larger groups.
Avaiability: All year.
Recomendations: Bring footwear for a hike. Dress according to weather forecast. Mosquito net for warm summer days. A drinking cup or bottle (clean water flows in the area).
Included: Guide, light safety equipment.
Not included: Insurance.
Transportation not included but can be added. For larger groups we will co-organize with bus-service company.
