The Nuuk Trail Series is a season-long trail and mountain running series set in the rugged terrain surrounding Nuuk, Greenland. The series brings together a diverse range of races that showcase the area’s dramatic fjords, steep mountainsides, and technical singletrack.
The events range from short, steep climbs and high-intensity vertical challenges to longer, more demanding mountain runs with significant elevation gain. Together, they offer a varied and progressive series that appeals to both experienced trail runners and newcomers looking to test themselves in Greenlandic terrain.
Assut Adventures is proud to collaborate on the series through its involvement in Nuuk Five Peaks, contributing to route development, event design, and the overall quality of the mountain running experience. The cooperation reflects a shared ambition to develop well-designed, challenging, and safe trail running events that highlight Nuuk’s unique backcountry.
The Nuuk Trail Series emphasizes:
Authentic mountain routes in raw Arctic nature
A balance between accessibility and technical challenge
Community-driven trail running with a strong local identity
Whether athletes are competing for the overall series standings or simply taking part in individual races, the Nuuk Trail Series offers a distinctive trail running experience in one of the world’s most striking landscapes.
