Austmannadalen
Ready for the ultimate trail runing adventure in the wilderness of Greenland? Austmannadalen is a protected area and offeres the utimate in trail running experiences. Here trail running basicly means wilderness running.
From the bottom of the pristine Ameralik Fiord we run (or hike) in the footsteps of both the reindeer and the legendary Fridjof Nansen – frist to cross the inland icecap. We let the natural landscape guide our path towards the inland Icecap and back. On the way we pass the remains of the norse culture with its 900 year history.
For trail running to be possible in such remote area, we are packing a superlight setup of light weight equipment. We setup a base camp and venture through the landscape without heavy backpacks.
NOTICE
This tour is offered to experienced trail runners and hikes only. In order to artake in the hike version, you must be able to confident with hiking 25 k / 15 miles for 3 days in a row. In order to parttake in the trail running version, you must be confident with running a marathon 3 days in a row. We might not run that far every day, but the landscape is as rough as it is beautiful.
We reserve the right not to offer the tour to anyone not in perfect prhysical condition or witout proof of durability.

Rescue helicopters pick up for non-Greenlandic residents (Participation at your own risk or via your own insurance).
You must sign a Waiver of Liability to participate in the tour.
