Skyview at Oriartorfik Peak
Join our professional guides on a hike to the spectacular Oriartorfik Peak in the Nuuk Fjord.
Ascend to the summit at 1,005 meters and experience the dramatic vertical drop. From the top, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the fjord.
There are three ways to reach this unforgettable peak:
Boat & Run / Hike
Travel with your guide by boat into the Kobbe Fjord. Land at the base of the peak with your running or hiking gear and follow an almost untouched trail to the summit. Enjoy the views before descending with your guide to the pickup point, where the charter boat will collect you.
Difficulty: 7/10 (for experienced and fit hikers only)
Expected time: Full-day adventure, 6–8 hours
Available for small groups: 3–9 persons, price per person
Heli Tour with Short Climb to the Summit
Depart from Nuuk Heliport with your designated guide. You will get a guided tour over the Nuuk fjord for the 15-18 minutes of the flight. We land at a safe distance from the summit and climb the final, short but steep section on foot. The faster the ascent, the more time you’ll have at the top before returning to the helicopter.
Difficulty: 5/10 (short but steep ascent)
Expected time: Half-day adventure, approx. 2 hours
Available for small groups: 2 - 4 persons, price for total
Oriartorfik Extreme Running Experience
Join your guide on an extreme trail-running adventure through Paradise Valley, across the mountain, and into the Kobbe Fjord via rock-slide areas and highly technical terrain. We ascend from the fjord to the summit for spectacular views, then return safely via the same route.
The total distance is approximately marathon length, run entirely on Greenlandic wilderness “trails.”
Unforgettable — but highly demanding.
Difficulty: 9/10 (for very experienced trail runners and ultra runners only)
Expected time: Full-day adventure, 9–13 hours
Available for small groups: 2–4 persons, price per person
Please note: All participants will be interviewed prior to the tour to ensure they are fit for the chosen challenge.
Availability: Weekends or by advance booking
Weather dependent: Clear and calm conditions required.
Extreme Running Experience is only available without snow or icy surfaces.
Included: Professional guide, sandwich, snacks, safety equipment
Not included: Insurance for rescue helicopter services for non-Greenlandic residents
Boat charter and helicopter services:
Prices and availability are subject to third-party service providers.
